Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Last Updated: March 1, 2025
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state privacy laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information to third parties. This page explains what that means and how to exercise that right.
What We Share
SecureLoan operates as a lead generation service. When you submit a loan request, we transmit your information to participating lenders and marketing partners who may make you an offer. Under the CCPA, this transfer may constitute a "sale" of personal information even though no money changes hands between us and you.
Information that may be shared includes:
- Name, address, and contact details
- Financial information (income, loan amount requested, employment status)
- Device identifiers and IP address
Your Right to Opt Out
You may request that we stop selling your personal information. To exercise this right, contact us by any of the following methods:
- Email: [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Personal Information"
- Mail: SecureLoan, 123 Financial District Ave, Suite 400, New York, NY 10005
We will process your request within 15 business days. Note that opting out may prevent us from being able to match you with lenders.
Additional California Rights
California residents also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
Other State Rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. Contact us at the email above to exercise any applicable rights.
